Proto Train is ena’s foundational trainer engineered for rhythm, structure, and the quiet consistency that forms the backbone of every strong runner. It is a universal all-round daily trainer, built with a traditional running shoe fit, ideal for long and short training sessions, recovery jogs, long aerobic efforts, and tempo sessions. Train Quietly. Build Boldly. Proto Train is ena’s foundational distance trainer, designed for the disciplined runner who shows up with purpose, day after day. Engineered for rhythm, structure, and the quiet consistency that drives progress, it delivers the dependable performance needed to build strength, resilience, and long-term speed. Whether you’re logging recovery jogs, pushing through tempo efforts, or building your aerobic base, Proto Train offers the comfort and stability of a daily workhorse with the advanced propulsion of a carbon plate system rarely found in trainers. Featuring the same responsive AXICORE™ midsole platform as Proto Runner 1, but tuned with a softer carbon plate, more forgiving upper, and greater everyday comfort, Proto Train helps you stay in flow without overreaching. Validated in performance labs across Europe and the U.S., it blends biomechanical efficiency with durable, sustainable design—proving that consistent training and environmental responsibility can go stride for stride.
